We are living in a new and more creative environment when it comes to treating addictions as well as general health! More and more people are interested in low- to non-toxic ways to enable recovery and full healing from drug use as well as living a better quality of life and living longer.
This course explores two scholarly definitions of addiction, physiological, cognitive/affective, and spiritual effects of addiction, and the corresponding holistic approaches to each of these three broad categories. In this course we examine gene expression in relation to the brain’s circuitry, the immune system, the cardiovascular system, and more.
